Event Report – T Level Practitioner Group Meeting
On the 1st May, Linking London held the third and last T Level Practitioner Group of the academic year.

After a warm welcome from the chair Sultan Soukani, Assistant Principal at HRUC, delegates heard first from Suzanne Hall, Head of Sector Development at Pearson who gave a T Level update including generation 2 T levels and a Curriculum Assessment Review update in regards to T Levels and L2 post-16 reform.
A college and university partner update then followed where college partners shared information on delivering and planning to deliver T Levels. Discussion included challenges around the T Level assessments and industry placements. We also had an update from the Education and Training Foundation who provided a summary of the ETF offer for T Level delivery providers and the upcoming events and support available.
We then heard from Janet King, Sector Manager for Education and Childcare who shared an update on T Level developments at NCFE discussing progress in Education and Early Years T Levels, highlighting improved delivery and increased uptake. NCFE is currently redeveloping the T Level as part of the Generation 2 process which is still under review with IFATE but highlighted some key priorities such as retaining the successful aspects of the current model and streamlining assessments.
Lastly, attendees were invited to suggest topics for future meetings, with interest in university admissions clarity, and a further update from NCFE.
The next T Level Practitioner Group Meeting will be in Autumn term, date and time TBC.
