The College’s Autumn Graduations brought together staff and students from across Birkbeck to celebrate the academic achievements of over 800 students.

New research commissioned by Birkbeck has discovered an attitude shift among young people, with only 1 in 5 feeling that moving away from their hometown or city to go to university is important, and 50% wanting to get a job whilst studying.
The research study involved asking approximately 22,000 teenagers about their mental health.
